Capture first, organize later
No note to name, no folder to pick. Get the idea down in seconds while it's fresh, and add a source or tag only if you want to.
About JikuDeck
JikuDeck is an iPhone app for saving ideas, quotes, and takeaways from books, podcasts, talks, and articles as visual cards. It's made by QPN Studio LLC.

Why I built JikuDeck
We read books, listen to podcasts, sit through talks, and save articles, and most of it is gone within weeks. Not because it wasn't worth keeping, but because of how we save it.
Notes apps ask you to organize before you capture: name the note, pick a folder, add a tag. So we either skip it, or we paste in paragraphs of text we never read again. Either way, the idea is lost.
I built JikuDeck to fix that. Capture first, in seconds. One card, one takeaway, in your own words. Then find it again fast, and let it come back to you, so what you learn actually stays with you.
How it's different
No note to name, no folder to pick. Get the idea down in seconds while it's fresh, and add a source or tag only if you want to.
A card has room for one idea, so it nudges you to write the takeaway, the action, or the summary in your own words instead of copying text you'll never revisit.
Quick search pulls up any card by words, tags, or source. The Home Screen widget brings cards back on its own, refreshing your memory.
Each idea gets its own card and style, so your deck is easy to scan and the ideas are easier to remember than lines in a document.
